2018 Audi Q5 Recalls

Six recalls cover the 2018 Audi Q5. The most recent was issued in December 2021: “Control Module Shutdown Can Reduce Engine Power.” One says not to drive the car, or to park it outside, until it is repaired. A VIN check at NHTSA shows which are still open on a given car.

  • Insufficient Coating on Brake Caliper Pistons

    Do not drive

The brake caliper pistons on these vehicles may have insufficient coating, potentially reducing the brake performance. A reduction of braking performance can increase the risk of a crash.
