    Who qualifies:
Only Civics with the 1.5L engine qualify. The car must have misfire or too rich fuel fault codes, or a whirling engine noise. Any earlier Honda product updates must be done first. Salvage or branded titles are not covered.
    Coverage:
6 years from the original sale date. No mileage limit for engine repairs caused by these problems.

  • Steering
  • A/C
  • A/C evaporator
  • Also ask for the service records, especially oil changes.

Before You Pay

  • Get an independent pre-purchase inspection from a mechanic you choose.
  • Decode the VIN to confirm the model year, engine and trim.
  • Check the title for salvage, flood or rebuilt branding.
